Welcome to the web site of photographer Robert Taylor

This site is divided into several subject galleries listed in the grey panel to the left, including Women in S.E.T. , Offender Artists, and various private sitters.

Portraiture forms the bulk of the work here. Robert’s subjects experience an enjoyable involving process with stylish and distinctive results.

Clients include royal colleges, academies and institutes, various NGOs, and a range of high profile companies. Some recent large scale projects have combined themed interviews with the portraits.

Many of Robert’s images are available as limited edition prints.

Short Essays
A series of essays about some of my more challenging and unusual photo assignments with subject matter that it would be inappropriate or impractical to display on the website. Later essays will include descriptions of: an art photography project with some autistic children, a personal portrait of a small rural community in West Africa and an explicit safer sex guide for gay men.
